My name is Tom but Tom is just one of the few names I’ve answered to over the years. Here are a few of the others:
Pinkie: When I was 5 I slipped while climbing a fence and wound up dangling by my pinkie between two fence posts. A Band-Aid and a new nickname later, I was back up there climbing.
Jelly: On the first day of 6th grade my teacher told us that middle school was a chance for us to be anybody we wanted to be. I took this literally and proceeded to go by Jelly for the entire year.
Jean-Luc: In college I created a character named Jean-Luc, a pretentious turtleneck-wearing French-Canadian travel vlogger. He became so popular at the school that a documentary was made about him.
If you’d like to learn about some of my other nicknames, or just want to learn more about Tom, please reach out to me on Linkedin.
